We’re getting very close to WordCamp here in Buffalo, only one week away. The Schedule is all set, the speakers are buttoning up their presentations, and tickets are going fast now. If you’re interested don’t hesitate to buy a ticket as soon as possible.
A few details for everyone. We will be having Registration in the Marie Maday Theatre. Don’t worry, you won’t miss it as its right on the main floor of Lyons Hall. You won’t need to bring a print-out of your ticket, just a Photo ID and some enthusiasm. We will have some brief opening remarks around 9:10am and then let people head up to the 3rd floor to get settled in for the first set of speakers. Sessions continue through the day with a break for lunch at 12:30 and then sessions continue until 5:30pm.
At 6:30pm we will be having a casual after-party at the Western NY Book Arts Center. Drinks will be available for a small donation to the WNYBAC (well worth it, they’re a local treasure!) and we’ll have some Pizza, antipasto and other snacks there as well sponsored by Staple Web Design. The WNYBAC is a short drive away but a great place with some great handmade letterpressed and screen printed artwork that you can buy while there.
